SUMMARY
To provide members with a brief update to the annual funding programme.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
A number of annual payments to community organisations were agreed as
part of the budget setting process and below is a brief update of the current
situation.

DETAILS
New Carnival Company - awarded £3,000 - this has been paid as it is
envisaged to put on a lantern event for Christmas along some other
developments and is in conversation with RBA
Classic Car Event - This was cancelled and no grant monies for this
year have been requested to date but costs will have been incurred. Its
suggested that any funds not required this financial year be carried
over to the next.

Ryde Carnival Association - awarded £9,000. No request for funding
has as yet been received
Ryde Arts CIC - £3,000 grant monies paid
Harp on Wight - grant awarded of £2,700. The event is now going on-
line and a reduced grant of £800 has been requested and paid.
Other annual grants that were awarded were as follows and have
already been paid or will soon be requested are listed below:
Footprint Trust - Warmer Home initiatives £9,000
Gift to Nature - Countryside Sites in Ryde £10,000
Waterside Community Trust - Splashpark £10,000 (not paid)
Waterside Community Trust - Swimming Pool £20,000
Aspire - Annual funding of £15,000 was awarded for 2019/20,
2020/21 and 2021/22
Community Connectors £20,000
Community Rail Partnership - Membership £2,000
