Members are summoned to attend a FINANCE AND COMMUNITY RESOURCES
COMMITTEE MEETING to be held on TUESDAY, 16 NOVEMBER 2021 to be held at
GARFIELD ROAD METHODIST CHURCH commencing at 7pm for the purpose of transacting the
business as set out within the agenda below.

Public Question Time
Prior to the Council meeting commencing there will be a public forum of up to 15 minutes, if
necessary, when there will be an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions of the
Committee.
1. APOLOGIES
To receive any apologies for absence.
2. DECLARATION OF MEMBERS INTERESTS
To receive any declarations of pecuniary or non-pecuniary interests relating to items
on the agenda.
3. REQUESTS FOR DISPENSATIONS
To receive and consider granting any written requests from Members for
dispensations in respect of disclosable pecuniary interests.
4. MINUTES
To take as read and confirm as accurate the attached minutes of the meeting held on
14 September 2021 (PAPER A).
5. MEMBERS QUESTIONS
To receive questions from members of the Finance Committee.
6. BUDGET MONITOR
To receive and consider the budget monitor for the period ending 31 October 2021
7. BUDGET VIREMENT
To agree items of virement, RFO to report (PAPER B2 )
8. BANK RECONCILIATION
To note the bank reconciliation for the period ending 31 October 2021 and a revised
bank reconciliation for the 2020-21 financial year (PAPER C ).

NOTICE OF CONCLUSION OF AUDIT
To receive and note the report of the External Auditor.
10.
WARMER RYDE QUARTERLY REPORT
To receive report from the Footprint Trust on the Warmer Ryde project. (PAPER D )
11.
RYDE HARBOUR
i. To receive an update on the acquisition of Ryde Harbour
ii. To approve membership of the British Marine Federation.
12.
CLASSIC CAR EVENT
To consider and agree a three-year funding programme
13.
BEACHFRONT 2022.
i. To receive and agree the report regarding the plans for beach front operations
ii. To note and agree the E Cargobike grant application made to the Energy Savings
14.
RYDE ROWING CLUB
To consider a financial contribution for the use of the club over the summer whilst
the Lind Street offices were unfit for use.
15.
INSURANCE
To receive an update on insurance claims relating to Lind Street offices burglary and
flooding incident.
16.
WE LOVE RYDE WEBSITE
To consider earmarking a refund of £1,500 to the Marketing budget.
17.
PAYMENTS LIST
To receive and approve a list of payments made since the last meeting (PAPER F )
18.
NEW ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE
To receive and agree report for new accounting software proposal (PAPER G )
19.
