Members are summoned to attend a PLACE, NEIGHBOURHOOD AND PLANNING COMMITTEE MEETING to be held on TUESDAY, 18 APRIL 2023 in the METHODIST CHURCH,
To receive and consider questions submitted by members of the public (limited to a maximum of 15 minutes).
To receive any apologies for absence.
To receive any declarations of pecuniary or non-pecuniary (personal) interests relating to items on the agenda.
To receive and consider granting any written requests from Members for dispensations in respect of disclosable pecuniary interests.

Proposal: Prior approval for change of use of first and second floor from commercial to form 2 flats.
Note - It is proposed to raise no objection to this application subject to there being a contribution to the Solent Special Protection Area (SPA) and there being provision for waste and cycle storage.
To note the decisions taken by the Isle of Wight Council’s Planning Department since 28 March 2023 (PAPER B).
WEST ACRE PARK PLANNING APPLICATION 20/01061/FUL
To consider possible guidance that the committee might give to the PNP Committee Chair to assist him with his representation at the IWC Planning Committee Meeting on the 25 April 2023.This guidance should include an evaluation of the mitigation offered to offset any harm done to the Solent Waders and Brent Geese Strategy (site IOW 46). It must be noted that Ryde Town Council have already submitted an objection to the full application on 11 September 2020 and 20 November 2020. Any further response must pertain to the new findings (PAPER C).
To agree the Terms of Reference and recommend to Full Council (PAPER E).
To consider any applications that may have been submitted (any papers will be to follow or tabled at the meeting).
