Introduction

Each year the council asks the constituents of Ryde for their input on where they feel the precept should be allocated on voluntary services the Council provides.

This year we have received 77 responses,

Results are as follows:

  5. Network Ryde Youth Service provide free of charge sessions for young people aged 11-18. Some of the services offered are, wellbeing sessions, cooking lessons, drop ins, allotment sessions, silent discos & home education sessions.

    They also provide support to young people with highly trained youth workers and managers.

  6. The Town Council is currently trialling an Information Support Service held in Ryde Library. The team can help with a range of queries, including assisting residents accessing benefits such as pensions credits, cost of living support, blue badges and winter fuel payments.
