Ryde Town Council is inviting local businesses and organisations to partner with us in supporting beach accessibility while benefiting from high-profile, positive visibility.
We are raising funds to purchase the Changing Places unit at Eastern Gardens, located beside the main beach entrance. Currently hired seasonally, securing ownership will allow the facility to be available all year round, extending access well beyond the May–October period.
Since the launch of Beach Accessibility in July 2024, feedback from residents and visitors has been overwhelmingly positive. For individuals with severe additional needs and their families, this service is not a luxury — it is essential.
