– Budget and Precept 2016/17 Drop-in session for residents

Drop-in session for residents

5.30pm-7pm, 20 January 2016,

Meeting Room, Town Council Offices,

10 Lind Street, Ryde

The Town Council is about to set the budget and precept (the money you pay to the Town Council for Ryde as part of your Council Tax bill) for Ryde in 2016-17. This year the Town Council has delivered a wider range of local services including allotments, a skatepark, decorative lighting, beach safety, beach cleaning and planting schemes as well as funding a dedicated Environment Officer for the town and Councillors will be considering where the budget should be allocated in the future. The Town Council will also be giving consideration to the future of some Isle of Wight Council services – with the provision of public toilets likely to be the most at risk.

Have your say by dropping in to the Town Council offices on the 20th January, by contacting your local town councillor, by emailing the Town Council at clerk@rydetowncouncil.gov.uk or by writing to us with your views at Town Hall Chambers, 10 Lind Street, Ryde, PO33 2NQ.
