Ryde Town Council are celebrating their 10th Anniversary this year, which we are celebrating with a new flag for Ryde.
We are holding a competition for Ryde children aged 11 and under to design the flag for Ryde. The flag can be designed electronically or hand drawn although it must include the Ryde Town Council Crest. Please note it is one entry per child.
We have created 3 printable templates, which can be found on our Facebook page or downloaded from the images below.
The competition will close on the 25th June, and will be judged by the Honours Working Party following this. The winning flag will be printed and flown at Eastern Garden’s located on The Esplanade. The winner and two runners up will win prizes and be invited for an afternoon tea with The Mayor.
Please send all entries on a document no smaller than A4 sized to Ryde Town Council, Town Council Chambers, 10 Lind Street, Ryde, PO33 2NQ or email them to grace@rydetowncouncil.gov.uk. Please ensure paper entries have the child’s name, age and school (if applicable) written on the back, and email entries have this information included. The winners will be contacted shortly after the competition closes.
If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact us, and we look forward to receiving your entries.
