We are happy to announce the reopening of our temporary Changing Place unit at Eastern Gardens, extending from 15th May to the end of September! This decision comes in response to overwhelming demand, reflecting our commitment to enhancing accessibility for all.
Located just a stone’s throw from the newly extended boardwalk on Harbour Beach, our unit offers comprehensive Changing Place facilities, including an accessible toilet, sink, and ceiling hoist. These amenities are designed to cater to the diverse needs of our community, ensuring everyone can enjoy a day at the beach comfortably and independently.
Starting 1st July, our Beach Accessibility equipment will be conveniently available from the Lifeguard station, further complementing the accessibility efforts at our seaside destination.
We’re really looking forward to welcoming visitors to our accessible beach this summer—a space designed for everyone to enjoy, with comfort, ease, and dignity.
