– Rubbish Networking Returns For 2023

Following the success of last year’s five events, Rubbish Networking returns in 2023. This series of community-driven litter picking meetups aims to bring the Island community together to protect our environment.

There are three events planned for this year, with the first to take place at Seaclose Park in Newport on June 30th, between 10am to 12pm. The second event will take place at Ryde seafront on the 25th August, and the third at Northwood Park on 27th October.

Rubbish Networking offers an opportunity for individuals to engage in a free-to-attend, fun, and friendly litter picking experience. Participants not only contribute to preserving the natural beauty of our biosphere Island, but also have the chance to meet like-minded individuals who share a passion for the environment.

Gloves, bags, and all the necessary equipment will be provided by the event’s sponsor Betapak to ensure your comfort and safety. Whether you’re a seasoned litter picker or trying it for the first time, all are welcome to participate. The more, the merrier!

Everyone is welcome to join at no cost, but please register each person attending so the organisers understand numbers and can send you event updates: click to register.
