– Ryde In Bloom

Ryde In Bloom 2022

Ryde in Bloom is open to all residents in Ryde, and we want to encourage everyone with a garden, patio, allotment, window-box or even a windowsill to get creative and get involved. Ryde in Bloom is an accessible, inclusive event that gives everyone equal opportunity.

Ryde in Bloom is blossoming for 2022 and, thanks to our sponsor Wightlink, it is going to be blooming marvellous! Ryde in Bloom is open to all residents in Ryde and we have 10 growing categories to suit all spaces.

We want more children to be involved and get growing at home or at school so we have partnered with the fantastic Haylands Farm to provide over 700 packs of seeds free of charge to Ryde Primary Schools.

1.            Allotment of the Year

Ryde in Bloom is growing

We want more children to be involved and get growing at home or at school so we have partnered with the fantastic Haylands Farm to provide over 700 packs of seeds free of charge to Ryde Primary Schools.

If you’re a Ryde School and would like to get involved, please email. Hannah.East@rydetowncouncil.gov.uk

As ever we encourage the children’s category to be creative with what they grow their seeds in, especially if they do not have a garden. This can be in anything: a wellington boot, pots and pans, jars, there is no limit to what the seeds can be grown in so let imaginations run wild!

Time to get involved and win some amazing prizes!

Judging will be based on FIVE photos submitted and will take place week commencing Monday 4 July 2022.

Closing date for photo submissions is Thursday 30 June 2022.

If you would like more information please email reception@rydetowncouncil.gov.uk or call 01983 811105.
