Ryde Town Council manage five different allotment sites:
- Marlborough Road
- Quarry Road
- Mayfield Road
- Alfred Street
- Upton Road
The typical size of a 5-rod plot averages around 125 square meters, and the annual rent for such a plot is currently £50.00. This annual fee covers water usage, which is valued at £10 per rod.
Additionally, there is a standard £50.00 deposit charge and a £25 admin fee for all allotment plots. However, it’s worth noting that Alfred Street is a locked site. If you’re interested in renting a plot at Alfred Street there a £5 key deposit required.
