The Town Council offices have re-opened following the recent flood. Due to the damage sustained there will be some disruption to the services offered, however, the public counter is now open for enquiries.

The Ryde Town Council Offices are temporarily closed until further notice due to a water leak and electrical fire. Please feel free to contact the council officers on their respective email addresses whilst the offices are closed.

Mobile HWRC
The mobile HWRC will visit Westridge today between 10am and 2pm to collect the following items:
Batteries (household)
Small electrical appliances (i.e. toaster, hairdryer, mobile phones)
Bulbs/fluorescent tubes
Paper/cardboard
Magazines
Printer cartridges
CDs and video tapes
Scrap metal (Max 1m in length and 30cm width)
Plastics
Textiles
Paint tins (lids must be on)
Warning – Brown Tail Moth Caterpillar
There have been reports of Brown Tail moth caterpillars on the Island. Once touched these caterpillars can cause extreme skin and eye irritation, swelling, breathing difficulties and rashes. Children are particularly vulnerable to the effects.
