The Isle of Wight Council (Various Streets, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 11 2021 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that

  • Longmead Road – from 0800 hours from Thursday 03 June 2021 until 2000 hours on Friday 18 June 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Longmead Road for its entire length;
  • Ratcliffe Avenue – from 0800 hours from Friday 11 June 2021 until 2000 hours on Thursday 24 June 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Ratcliffe Avenue, between its junctions with Swanmore Road and Pellhurst Road. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Bank Gardens, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2021 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours from Wednesday 26 May 2021 until 1700 hours on Friday 28 May 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Bank Gardens, for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works

The Isle of Wight Council (Lower Highland Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours from Monday 24 May 2021 until 1630 hours on Friday 28 May 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Lower Highland Road for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Bellevue Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 3 2021 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0830 hours from Tuesday 25 May 2021 until 0830 hours on 21 June 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Bellevue Road, between its junctions with Nelson Place and Nelson Street. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during scaffolding works.

The Isle of Wight Council (Carters Road, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 4 2021 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 2300 hours, for one day, from Tuesday 25 May 2021 until Thursday 27 May 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Carters Road between its junctions with Ashey Road and Upton Road. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during ironwork repairs. 

The Isle of Wight Council (Alfred Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions Order No 2 2021 – Alfred Street, for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during footway re-surfacing works. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 21 May 2021 and Friday 02 July 2021 the following restrictions will be in place for both day and night for a period of approximately six weeks, or when the works have been completed, for safety during footway re-surfacing works. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works.  In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences.

The Isle of Wight Council (Pell Lane, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2021 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 2300 hours, for one day, from Wednesday 02 June 2021 until Friday 04 June 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Pell Lane between its junctions with Coach House Lane and Tandy Close. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

The Isle of Wight Council (Arthur Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions Order No 2 2021 – Arthur Street for its entire length. The restriction is required for safety during carriageway re-surfacing works. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0600 hours and 1800 hours on approximately five to ten days, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner; that no vehicle or person may use, or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. The closures are for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works between Friday 28 May 2021 and Friday 09 July 2021. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. It may be necessary to close this section of road on more than one occasion within this timeframe.
