Vaccines have been shown to be effective against all variants. It is important to have both doses for full protection.
It is not too late for older people to get their first dose. Please encourage friends, family, and colleagues to get vaccinated.
The government aim by 19 July is:
- for all UK adults aged 18+ to have been offered their first vaccine.
- for two thirds of adults to have been offered both doses.
