It has been a great honour to be the Mayor of Ryde for the past year – and also to be the first woman mayor. Ryde is an incredible town. I have met a wide variety of people and been warmly welcomed everywhere. I would like to thank everyone who has helped to make it such an interesting and rewarding year, including our excellent staff team, my deputy Karen, and the incredible public of Ryde, whose diversity, energy and enthusiasm continue to astound me.
