The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0930 hours until 1530 hours, or, from 1930 hours until 2300 hours, for one day, from Monday 28 June until Wednesday 30 June 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Great Preston Road between its junctions with High Park Road and Smallbrook Lane. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0600 hours and 1800 hours on approximately five to ten days, or when the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner; that no vehicle or person may use, or cause any animal to use the following roads; and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road where indicated by traffic signs. The closures are for carriageway and footway repairs, resurfacing, drainage works, verge maintenance and kerbing works between Friday 25 June 2021 and Friday 06 August 2021. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences.
