Thursday 2 December sees the return late night shopping to Ryde along with the wonderful Merry and Bright Lantern Parade and illuminated trail and, for the first time ever, a magical Christmas tree light switch on!
There will be fabulous street entertainment and live music making it a fantastic evening to explore the shops, buy those gifts, treat yourself, and support local this season.
Head to Ryde between 5-8pm on Thursday 2 December.
Come and enjoy a Caribbean Christmas with Derek Sandy, fantastic light performances, and magic with Huxley. There will be appearances from The Grinch, Elsa and many more round the town along with free facepainting and much, much more!
- 17:00 onwards – Late-night shopping.
- 17:30 – 18:30 – Merry & Bright Lantern Parade starting at Aspire Dover Street, Star Street, High Street and finishing at the bottom of Union Street.
- 19:00 – Christmas Tree lights switch-on in Minghella Square with the Grinch.
