Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0001 hours from Monday 26 April until 2359 hours on Friday 30 April 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Salters Road for its entire length. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during drainage repairs.

High Street, Ryde, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic and Revocation of One-Way Restriction) Order No 4 2021 Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that

  • from 0900 hours from Monday 19 April 2021 until 1700 hours on Saturday 24 April 2021, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along High Street, between its junctions with Bank Place and Hill Street;
  • from 0900 hours from Monday 19 April 2021 until 1700 hours on Saturday 24 April 2021, or when the works has been completed, the one-way restriction will be revoked along High Street, between its junctions with Bank Place and Hill Street. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during utility works.

St Thomas’ Square, Ryde, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2021 ~
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1930 hours from Sunday 18 April 2021 until 0600 hours on Thursday 22 April 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along St Thomas’ Square between its junctions with Church Lane and Union Street. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during high friction surfacing works.

Ashey Road, Ryde, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 2 2021
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1830 hours from Thursday 22 April 2021 until 0600 hours on Wednesday 28 April 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Ashey Road between its junctions with East Ashey Lane and Smallbrook Lane. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during high friction surfacing works.

Melville Street, Ryde, (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order No 1 2021
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1800 hours from Thursday 22 April 2021 until 0600 hours on Wednesday 28 April 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Melville Street between its junctions with Dover Street and Trinity Street. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during high friction surfacing works.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1830 hours from Thursday 22 April 2021 until 0600 hours on Wednesday 28 April 2021, or when the works has been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Melville Street between its junctions with Belvedere Street and Dover Street. The alternative route will be sign posted locally. The closure is required for safety during high friction surfacing works.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 1830 hours and 0600 hours on approximately five to ten nights, or when the works have been completed, between Friday 23 April 2021 and Friday 04 June 2021. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and advanced warning signs before the scheme commences. It may be necessary to close this section of road on more than one occasion within this timeframe:

  • Lind Street, Ryde, (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions Order No 1 2021 – Lind Street between its junctions with Lind Place and St Thomas Street. The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing works.
  • Spencer Road, Ryde, (Temporary Road Closure and Parking Restrictions Order No 2 2021 – Spencer Road between its junctions with West Street and St Thomas Street. The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing works.
